Background of Learnycious
Learnycious is a project that was started as a simple mobile app to help people learn and improve their knowledge about computing. The app have since been improved and is now one of the most popular android apps on Google Play. The app has been used by over 1,000,000 people and is touted as a learning tool for everyone no matter their background.
New Requirements
With the popularity of the app, it is becoming more and more urgent for the creators to move the app to another level of success that is already . incredible In the new requirements, we want to make the app more user friendly with a more appealing UI and a more intuitive user experience. Two other new features that we want to add are the new media-rich courses and live quizzes.
What we did
Our team of experienced developers have worked hard to meet the new requirements. We have listed below the key new features that we have added to the app.
- the UI has been completely redesigned to be appealing, more user friendly and intuitive.
- The courses were directly integrated to the app and bundled at release time. We moved the courses to a separate repository making them available separately. This allowed us to update the courses without affecting the app release cycles.
- New quizzes were added to the app. We are also working to make the quizzes available in a realtime battle mode.
Final thoughts
The projects is always under work because it is a huge one. So far, we have been able to implement the first batch of new features and the app is on its way to a new highs. The next group of features to be added are on the way and those include an online version of the app. We are also working on a better monetization model for the app.
