How we did it

We screened multiple artificial intelligence platforms providers and chatbot services. Few of them matched our needs. We finally chose some opensource package that would allowed us to deeply customize them when needed and at the same time be able to have access to a great support that could ever be free or paid.

• The web app has been entirely developed using the NodeJs environment. And the platform has been divided into three parts: the managing backend, the recruiting backend and the applicants chat interface
• The recruiting backend is made up of REST API to support the whole app and a ui to manage and supervise the full system. It allows us for example to enable or disable some features or to block some users.
• The recruiting backend is the ui part that stands hase the dashboard for the recruiters. From this interface, they can post the positions they are looking for, manage the recruitment process and get the candidates the AI selected.
• The last part of this app is the chat interface. This is the communication channel used by the AI to gather candidates data in order to screen them automatically before sending them to the recruiter.

Final thoughts

We have been able to create a great solution. We regularly use it to find the right candidate for a certain types of positions. The power of AI and chatbot has been used to fuel this platform. With the use of it, we are saving a ton of cash that would normally be spent on an external recruitment process. More other people and company are also saving time and money by using Dexa.
